New Treatments Give Hope to People With Brain Tumors

Since McCain announced the news last year, he has had surgery and chemotherapy. There’s no cure for this type of cancer, and even with treatment, most people don’t live longer than three years after being diagnosed.

National Audit Bill passed in P’ment

The National Audit Bill was passed in Parliament yesterday without a vote, with the inclusion of several amendments. Opening the debate on the Bill, Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe in Parliament yesterday stated that the Yahapalanaya Government had been able to introduce the National Audit Bill despite successive governments failing in the task since 2003.
